We are a new coding group with the goal of teaching the D Programming Language to everyone who wants to use it. There are many reasons of why to choose D over languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, and the like. Here at DDev, you can find full programs available for free and for purchase, as well as tutorials and guides to learn D.

11/13/2008 - GtkD 1.1 released
GtkD 1.1 has been released! This new version fixes some bugs and fully wraps GTK+ 2.14.4. GTK+ 2.14.4 Windows Installer available as well.
8/7/2008 - Forums!
Our forums are finally ready! We haven't added peermissions yet, but we wanted to give everyone a chance to check out the forums first. You'll need to be logged in to post.

DDev now has it's own domain name, ddev.info! Expect to be able to get yourname.ddev.info for your project soon!

We've updated our article editor as well as fixed the way you add/edit code blocks.

We added IRC Chat to DDev! Go to the chat page to talk with us! You can connect from any irc client as well, just join #gtkd on irc.freenode.net!
6/30/2008 - GtkD Pre-Release 9
GtkD Pre-Release 9 is now available! Get it on the Tools page. This release contains a more familiar GTK wrapper feel, as well as improved documentation and contains a fix for the memory bug present with pre-release 8.
6/29/2008 - Back On The Web
Since we shut down (or rather stopped updating) ddev last year, we haven't done much other than host files. Well now we are back up and better than ever! Not only will we be posting examples, tutorials, and articles for you, but now we have a member program which allows you to login and post your own articles! Sign ups will be available soon.
